Last 2 days in NYC
Wednesday, September 10, 2008, 09:25 PM - ME

Touring NYC has been pretty exciting, this is a fabulous city with so much to see!

This was a rainy day, still we are out there going to check out some interesting sites

We went to "Ground Zero" the place where the World Trade Center use to be., today they are working (don't know what is going to be there..), we could only see some stuff going on trough a bridge

Grand Central, the train station

That afternoon we went to Brooklyn

I did a very quick photoshoot for my "new friends" and cousin Jamie&Melissa, who's wedding we are photographing next year., they were showing us around, and I though, hey!, lets have some pics!.. (more to come later)

The views from Brooklyn to Manhattan at sunset were amazing!

After hanging out in Brooklyn we went back to Manhattan and went to the Top of the Rock, to get more amazing views of the city at night

We are leaving today! and haven't seen the Statue of Liberty, so here we go!

And that was the end of this trip, I am definitively coming back!, Loved the city! and had a wonderful time, so see you soon NY!!

So yesterday we toured the city on a bus roof top, it was pretty cool!...

On our way to the bus stop, I saw this firefighter and couldn't resist but to take a photo.

Aunt B and Katie, my sister in law

This is Toni, another aunt, that is a experience NewYorker and was giving us directions on the hot spots

This is Ed Yourdon, he is Matt's uncle and now I'm proud to say mine too!... he is one of the top 10 most influential men in software in the world, he has written more than 2 dozen of books and hundreds and hundreds of articles.

Anyway, it just so awesome to be related to someone as brilliant as Ed, the best part is that he is a very kind a sweet men, he is also a photography lover!. Matt and I are photographing his son wedding next year in Massachusetts

This is St Johns Cathedral

A piece of advice from NY

I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I was delighted with all the beauty inside
